 GEN large cluster of shelves, on dead siberian elm
 CAP annual, thick rounded margin, whitish and somewhat squishy-spongy when growing, quickly becoming corky and rich reddish brown, densely tomentose at 30x, K+ deep red-black on fresh growing surface
 FLESH corky dark brown, K+ black
 PORE surface dirty brown, pores fine (~2 per mm)
 SPORE print bright ochre en masse, (6.4)6.9+/-0.2(7.2)x(4.3)5.2+/-0.4(5.8)um (Q=(1.1)1.3+/-0.1(1.4)) (N=11)
Seems clear it's this genus, but the spores are incorrect for the only species Arora describes.  Can't find additional info on web.

Several small gray ones, in grass. Two beautiful ones starting to liquify. Beautiful large specimen, in grass, quarter view. 

Coprinus plicatilis [] 

Huge fruiting under dead/dying camphor tree on south side of Fillmore between Euclid and Madison, from halfway all the way into lawn on southeast corner of Fillmore and Madison.  Some quite large ones (see photo) to 3cm at least, others smaller and quite gray.  Never seen so many before.

slime mold [] 

Same place as
 GEN slime mold, in grass, at top of blades(!) not near ground
 CAP disgusting slimy-sticky mass, very delicate like sea foam, purplish-black inside, buff-whitish coating, heavily pruinose (0.5-1.5um see microscopic photo)
 SPORE clear, round, smooth, (7.1)7.8+/-0.4(8.7)um (n=12)
