Abronia elliptica (common in sandy places throughout, many in full bloom at Nankoweep, but nowhere else) 

Acacia greggii (abundant above daily high-water line along full length river and in side canyons, many in full bloom, some past their prime) 

Acer negundo arizonicum (common in side canyons near water, in fruit) 

Acourtia wrightii (infrequent in talus, esp. upper half) 

Adiantum capillus-veneris (abundant in seeps and permanent streams) 

Agave utahensis (common throughout, but more abundant upcanyon, in fruit)
