WGWI west, fungi and flowers.

Just wandered up Table Mt trail a ways, then cut down via a nice side-trail to creek, then up creek till tired of struggling with underbrush.  Many nice Mycena, Xeromphalina and Lichenomphalia.

Mycena fuliginella []

GEN small mycena, gregarious on rotting conifer logs, quite common
ST smooth, 5-60x1mm or so, fragile, exudes clear liquid at base when squeezed
CAP ~15mm wide, conical, delicate, smooth, shiny or at least moist, brown, translucent striate, fading a bit in center or darkening around margin or both
 GILL brownish, v sl decur
 SPORE didn't collect
I've seen this quite a lot, and I've been avoiding studying it, but since it's so darned common, I figured I'd finally make an exception for it.  It keys readily if the water in the stem is considered "exuding juice".  (Used SVIMS key for fungi of Pac NW.)
