SPORE 8 per ascus, round, smooth, v finely textured inside, ~6um wide
PARA well-hidden, bright yellow-orange, apparently mostly smooth?
Tough to key without the greenish discoloration.  It does discolor a bit, but I'd call it brownish not greenish or bluish, but what do I know?

yellowish tooth (on end of cut spruce logs by trail)

Discina? []

GEN asco fungus, on side of trail, not clearly associated with any particular tree
ST v short, close to central, whitish like underside of cap

Seems clear it must be a Discina, but I cannot observe the spore features they are supposed to have in varying degrees.
