Walk cross-country to Battle Creek Road and back. Lots of morels, but little else still. Sigh.

Okay, I'm positive I'm seeing two different species now. The less common one differs in the following ways: thinner softer more fragile flesh, narrower straighter finer ridges, redder color, marg of cap much less bent in to almost continuous with stalk, cap shaped more conic and always distinctly sharp-pointed, odor always significantly stronger (other is mild to odorless).
