Ducks on pond in spring snow storm, vertical. Ducks on pond in spring snow storm, horizontal. 

Snow storm. Walked around and got lost again.

Thallus, at 30x. 

Xanthoria fulva [] [voucher] 

 GEN orange lichen, on rock in rain-shade of old Picea witn Calicioids
 THAL finely divided narrow short scattering of ascending libes, rather isidioid granules exposed by upturned lobes, granules mostly all over but some distinct crescent-shaped soralia
 APO present, with soralia on margs
Still don't know if I know the difference between X. fulva and X. candelaria but I'm taking the presence of at least some distinct soralia as being diagnostic of X. fulva.

Calicium viride [] [voucher] 

 GEN calicioid, on rain-sheltered Picea twigs
 THAL greenish granular
 APO stalk to 3mm(!) long, black, excipulum brown, mazaedium greenish in K, stalk brown under LM, asci clavate 40-50x5um
 SPORE 11-13x5-6um, 2 cell, brown, spiral-cracked to irreg warted in age, strongly constricted in age
