Asbury, just over the first stream crossing, off trail up the valley to the right.  Most on the enormous rotting red? oak.

 GEN slime mold, on v rotten hardwood log
 CAP clusters of minute red cups on short stalks, cups ~0.3mm wide, stalk ~2mm tall
 SPORE well past that stage

Multiclavula mucida [] [voucher] 

Also on big oak at top of Asbury. 
 GEN tiny club fungus, scattered on wet rotten algae-covered oak wood (not bark)
 CAP club-shaped, simple to fibriate to outright multiply-forked (rare), 3-6mm tall, ~0.3-0.4mm wide, narrowed at base, white to yellowish to dk reddish brown at v tip, somewhat irreg and often minutely lumpy, shiny, smooth
 SPORE withers way to quickly to get a print

Tremella foliacea [] [voucher] 

 GEN huge jelly fungus, clumped on rotted oak
 CAP ruffled contorted disk-like lobes and bunched together, lobes ~50mm wide, thin (~1mm thick), v soft and flabby, translucent, pinkish to orangy brown, darkening in age, smooth but with a faint whitish bloom perhaps from some microscopic texture
Hard to believe this is the same thing as before.

Exidia? [] [voucher] 

 GEN small jelly fungus, small clumps protruding from under bark flakes on oak log
 CAP small ruffled lobes, pale pinkish lilac to deep rich purple and vinaceous, translucent, gelatinous, smooth, lobes on the order of 5-10mm broad by 15-20mm long, tightly bunched together
 SPORE failed to get a print

Hypholoma sublateritium [] [voucher] 

 GEN avg mushroom, small to large clumps on old oak log, no odor
 ST 50x7-9mm, curved, even thickness, pale yellowish at top to dk reddish brown at bottom, scurfy-fibrillose esp near bottom, faint white fuzzy near base, solid, pale yellowish inside, fibrous, not breaking easily, firm
 CAP to 50-60mm wide, contorted, convex, smooth, dry, shiny, rich lt reddish brown in center to buff or yellowish outside, cuticle cracking when dry
 FLESH pale yellowish, to 10mm thick in wide area near center, fragile, firm spongy, unchanging
 VEIL none
 GILL adnate, close, odd livid grayish yellowish color, esp grayish seen side-on, to 7mm deep, unbr, becoming a bit mottled from minute powdering of brown spores
 SPORE print copious purplish brown

Hypholoma sublateritium [] [voucher] 

Same log but different place; are these different?? 
 GEN small to avg mushroom, small clumps on old oak log, no odor
 ST curved, 30x5-7mm, v pale yellowish to reddish near base, shiny fibrous, whitish scurfy thinning above, hollow, pale inside, soft and bending readily but not breaking
 CAP to 30-40mm wide, domed, marg curled in a bit, dull, smooth to faint scattered thin fibrilose scales, rich reddish brown fading to yellowish near margin, finely whitish fibrillose around marg from partial veil remnants
 FLESH v pale yellowish, 1-2mm thick, fragile but cuticle tougher and peeling a bit
 VEIL partial, fibrillose, not leaving any sign on stalk, v pale, leaving tatters hanging from marg
 GILL strongly notched but att, v pale yellowish, unbr, close, clean
 SPORE print copious purplish brown

Panellus serotinus [] [voucher] 

Ah, at last!  Beautiful find!  These were quite large, and had turned all sorts of neat colors, from the usual yellowish and green to bluish or steel gray to orangy to almost purplish.  I expect a full spore print at last... 
 SPORE print creamy

Bjerkandera adusta [] [voucher] 

 GEN resupinate shelf, on big old oak log, strong fungal odor
 ST none
 CAP white to creamy to gray near marg, lumpy, soft tomentose, not zoned, sticking out 30mm or more
 FLESH 1mm, white, tough, somewhat rigid
 PORE dirty gray to pale near margin, v fine (~8 per mm!), 1mm deep
 SPORE print whitish (but faint)
Can't find the "thin dark line (that) spearates the pores from the flesh" of which Arora speaks.

Poria [] [voucher] 

This was on the ridge between TT and where Asbury leaves ridge.  I picked this up largely because it seemed fresh and I hoped it might give a spore print.
 GEN crust fungus, on small oak limb, peels off with thin bark
 ST none
 CAP none
 PORE yellow to whitish near marg, somewhat soft, v fine
 SPORE failed to get a print

Hygrocybe [] [voucher] 

This was just past halfway on TT. 
 GEN tiny mushroom, in moss and soil on trail, on dry steep slope with hardwood forest
 ST 20x0.5mm, shiny-translucent, yellow to orangish, smooth, not breaking, slick (viscid when wet?)
 CAP tiny (~5mm), golden to somewhat darker and orangish at center, convex, smooth, slick (viscid when wet?)
 VEIL none
 GILL decur, dist, golden like cap, thick
 SPORE failed to get a print
If Hygrocybe, could be H. ceracea or H. parvula (too small for these?); if Xeromphalina or Omphalina, could be X. cauticinalis or O. fibula (shouldn't cap be depressed?)
