FL whitish, staining rufescent in places esp near base and gills, firm
CAP 30mm, bell, shiny smooth, usually w scattered scales from u-veil, light brown, scales same color or lighter
VEIL
partial skirt-like, white
universal no sign at base, remnants conspic on cap
GILL white, close, free?
Very young specimen.

Chlorophyllum molybdites []

Large grouping along hwy just south of where main hwy turns west to go inland.
GEN large mushroom, gregarious, in lawn near hardwood coastal scrub, unpleasant odor
ST 110x15mm, even, hollow, pale to brown, shiny, aging dker, staining dk brown when cut esp ends, white fine fuzz at base
FL whitish, 3-4mm thick, not very firm, dry, unchanging
CAP 80mm or more wide, convex to broadly bell-shaped, v pale to light brown, dry, shiny, covered w scattered dker scale-patches esp in center
VEIL partial, conspic, upper st, scaly underneath
GILL completely free, dingy whitish
SPORE couldn't get print

ST 40x15mm, curved, solid, brittle, whitish inside, whitish at top to lt brown almost reticulate below, base sl bulbous
FL 3mm, whitish, brittle, unstaining, no odor
CAP 50mm wide, convex, smooth, dirty, dry, golden to reddish, fairly pale, cuticle peels somewhat easily
VEIL none
GILL attached to sl decurrent, whitish, free, unbr, all gills run entire width and are equal
SPORE print whitish
