Bolbitius vitellinus [] 

Lawn on SE corner of Fillmore and Magnolia, few scattered amongst sev Panaelina foenisecii
 GEN small mushroom, scattered in lawn, delicate, lasting only a day or two
 ST 60x2-5mm, broadening gracefully to bottom, yolk yellow at top to snow white at bottom, hollow, smooth to in fibrillose esp near top
 CAP 25mm, domed, striate, smooth, shiny, yolk-yellow on top fading to tan-brown-buff on withering edge, viscid when young
 GILL barely attached, pale becoming dusted w cinnamon spores
 SPORE print cinnamon, lt yell-brown, smooth, ellip to ov, conspic pore, no bubbles, 9.5-13.0x6.0-8.0um

Hebeloma [] 

Lawn and between sidewalk and road, just W of Oak Knoll on Cornell (connector just north of Arden).  Quite a lot.

Between sidewalk and road, W side of Oak Knoll, just N of Arden (same place as earlier, same mushrooms, in fact).

Scleroderma areolatum [] 

Same place as , same mushroom as before (the one that hadn't burst open yet that I took a picture of).  It is now very soft, but still hasn't opened.

Amanita phalloides [] 

Halfway between El Molino and Oak Knoll, between sidewalk and road, on Cornell (connector just N of Arden). 
 GEN medium mushroom, solit, in lawn, distinct not entirely pleasant odor
 ST 80x12-15mm, white, smooth to sl floccose-fibrilose esp near base, conspic thin pendent skirt-like white smooth ring, sac-like vulva around bulbous base, ring yellowish but smooth underneath, solid, a bit watery inside
 CAP 60mm, dome, tacky, smooth, livid pale greenish yellow, not a solid color varying subtly all over with green/yellow most prevalent near margin on the sides, not at all striate
 FLESH 5-6mm, white
 GILL free, white, 8-9mm deep, close, clean, v sl sterile marg
 SPORE print white, sticky-goopy when dry, ellip, clear, enormous perfectly round bubble, somewhat irregular, sticking in great rafts when wet, 7.6-10.0x6.2-7.5um
Yes! raw potatoes is a good description of odor.
