How exciting! Found a beautiful stash of Lecanora (and a few unexpected bonuses!) on the base of some bottle brush trees (Banksia?) along Sierra Madre in front of Pasadena High School. I will still need to return for a sample of each to be sure.
Also, rained last night, about 0.30-0.45" depending where you were in Pasadena. Oddly, the top of Lake and Mt Wilson got the least, while Mountain and Madison got the most. One would normall expect the mountains to get more (they avg ~30" versus our ~16").
