This is the second day after the 1.2" of rain we got on Saturday.  Mica caps seem to be coming up all over today.

Agaricus comtulus [] 

W side of Magnolia not far S of Fillmore, in lawn. 
 GEN small mushroom, two together, in lawn
 ST 25x4mm, solid, whitish, even, smooth, v weak ring, unusual sharp medicine-like odor from crushed base
 CAP 25mm wide, flat to sl convex, whitish to brownish, smooth to wrinkly, K+ weakly yell, also developing yell tints in age
 FLESH v thin, whitish, no stain noticable, just a strong fungal odor, distinct almondy/anisy flavor
 GILL free, turning brown early
 SPORE print choc brown, ellip, smooth, 5-6x4-5um
Arora doesn't give me confidence on this ID  all small whitish Agaricus with K+y reaction in grass key to same thing.  (And the spores are too large.)

Coprinus micaceus [] 

Several spots on lawns on W side of Magnolia between Fillmore and Alpine.
