Sunday Gulch; along road to south of Rte 36. Road is in shallow valley
flanked by open scrub with a few scattered oaks and pines. Open, dry, sunny most of the day. Valley runs nearly due south.

"Little" McClellan Rock; a little west of Six Rivers NF on Rte 36; just
a little east of what must be the real McClellan Rock; just west of ridge top where road bends to the right (going west). Open oak-grassland and igneous? outcropping. Obviously sees much cloud and fog.

right by the trail (and sign) to Pinnacle Spring (unnamed on sign). Manzanita-oak-pine scrub. Shaded by canopy but fairly open. I think this is called the Smith-Etter Road these days.
