Still coming up every morning like clockwork in the same place (S side of Fillmore between alley on W and Marengo on E.  Generally dried up by 10am. (ID on 20070802.)

Anredera cordifolia [] 

Vine on E side of alley between Euclid and Los Robles, 1 house N of Alpine. Climbing all over the old lady's fence, just S of the big fig.  In full intoxicating bloom. 
 GEN vine, barely woody but obviously peren
 LF alt, cord to trunc, up to 50x50+10mm, pet wide and folded up, v wavy-crisped, thick and leathery to almost succ, pin veins, obtuse, fragile, lt even green both sides, no stips
 INFL long d digitate racemes born few per panicle, pedicels 2.5mm, fls and pedicels spread 90deg, 2 sl connate bracteoles easily mistaken for incomplete outer whorl of sepals
 SEP 5, free, whitish, 2x1.7mm, spread to v reflex, v thin almost translucent
 PET none
 STAM 5, join at base, sl to v bent outward, 3.5mm, whitish
 ANTH tiny, white, dorsifix
 OV 1, sup, 1 chamb, 1 ovule
 STYLE 3, join mostly, 3 stig
 FR tiny indehisc cap
