Russula krombholzii [] 

In hemlock forest by old sawmill (place off to right near mailbox). 
 GEN med mushroom, on soil under conifers, no taste or odor
 ST 40x10mm, white, dry, smooth, solid, brittle
 CAP 50mm, dk blackish red w bluish tinge, dker in middle, concave, dry, smooth, not striate
 FLESH white, no bruise
 GILL sl creamy white, att to sl notched, clean, straight, unbr, flaking brittle
 SPORE print v pale yellish white to essentially snow white, colorless to blackish due to ornamentation, heavily warty, 7.5um round, 1 cell, sticking in irreg masses

Crepidotus applanatus [] 

Out in force all over the place.

Spores, at 400x.  Marks are 2.5um.  They're the long needle or noodle shaped things.
