Platismatia tuckermannii [voucher]
On Tigger's Trot 60% to top; fairly common; on bark and twigs; these samples both from dead mountain laurel limbs.

On Tigger's Trot (called them "long pend" "scraggly"). From v long and pendulous to scraggly and sparsely compact. Are these two species? They have the same microscopic and chemical properties, but the habits are so completely different.
